The Bowden & District Agricultural society holds regular monthly meetings on the 3rd Wednesday of  each month, 7:30 p.m. at the Rodeo Grounds.  New Members are always welcome.

We hold 2 major events each year.  The fourth weekend in July is our Bowden Daze Rodeo and Bull Riding.  This is a 3 day event starting Friday morning with the Junior Rodeo.  Friday evening we have the Team Roping Jackpot and Entertainment.  Saturday is the Rodeo sanctioned by CARA www.cararodeo.com and Saturday evening is the Bull Riding Event sanctioned by WPB Inc. www.wpbbull.com.  Following the Bull Riding event on Saturday evening you can kick up your heels at the dance featuring the band "Damned If I Know". Sunday afternoon the CARA Rodeo continues.  You will enjoy a full weekend of rodeo action and western hospitality.

On the Labour Day weekend the we host another 3 day action packed rodeo event.  Starting on Friday afternoon with a Wrangler Division High School Rodeo and continuing Saturday & Sunday with the regular High School Rodeo sanctioned by AHSRA  www.albertahsrodeo.com

During the summer season the Bowden Team Roping Club hosts regular practices 3 days per week. Monday & Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons with Team Roping Jackpots throughout the season.  For more informaiton on the Bowden Team Roping Club - Don Hanson - 556-5228.
